KRIS HERMAN

Head Coach/Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator

Kris Herman has been an instrumental figure in collegiate softball since beginning her coaching career at Tufts University.

After 16 seasons at Tufts, Herman came to Williams during the 2003-04 academic year.

In 2026, Herman reached the 900 win milestone in her career. She is one of only ten D3 coaches to achieve this mark.

Her teams have won thirteen NESCAC championships.

On December 10, 2021, Herman was inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Hall of Fame at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas in December 2021.

Coach Herman has operated camps for prospective college players for over twenty years and many of the players on the Williams teams have participated on camps either on or off campus.
